Two men have died after an incident on the Shell Expro Brent Bravo platform in the North Sea on t...

Due to the build up of gas in the utility leg, the platform was downmanned of all non-essential personnel to the nearby Brent Alpha and Brent Charlie platforms. The gas was quickly and safely evacuated and no pollution was reported.

An investigation team has been mobilised to the platform, situated 186 km north-east of Lerwick, Shetland, to identify the cause of the incident.

"We are determined to quickly find the cause of this tragic incident, and will continue to work closely with the Police and the HSE to do so," said managing director for Shell Expro, Tom Botts.
