Petrobras in pre-salt win

Brazilian oil company Petrobras has signed an agreement with Japanese export agency Nippon Export and Investment Insurance and Mizuho Bank to obtain a $US500 million ($A536.2 million) loan to build and convert 12 floating production, storage and offloading platform hulls.

The platforms are being built to develop pre-salt projects in the Santos Basin, with eight of them assigned to blocks BM-S-9 and BM-S-11, and the other four to the company's onerous concession areas. ...
