Petrobras said that direct negotiations shall be carried out for the first phase of the construction of the hull, topsides and integration of the platforms to Dresser-Rand Co, Nuovo Pignone, Rolls-Royce PLC. It added that following analysis of the technical bids, consortiums of Odebrecht S.A/Saipem SpA and Fels Setal S.A/ Technip and Samsung Corp were also approved.
Aker Kvaerner failed to comply with the main requirements of the power generation modules contract, according to Petrobras, along with Grupo Dragados SA, Camargo, Techint Group, Andrade Gutierrez, Promon and Maratima.
