The heat flow values of 92-96 milliwatts per square metre from Snow-1, Lake Leak-1, Elizabeth-1 and Tooms-1, are within the range commonly reported from the Cooper Basin, the company added.
Operating office Malcolm Ward said the recordings enhance KUTh's model for geothermal energy from eastern Tasmania.
"We have outcropping known hot granites to the north and east of the project area and geophysical evidence that granites continue south and west under between two and six kilometres of insulating cover," he said.
"Now we have confirmation of strong, consistent surface heat flows from approximately 1200 square kilometres of the covered area.
"This is a large area and although further anomalous areas may be defined we are already planning follow-up drilling to better test this zone."
To date, KUTh has completed 16 holes in its eastern Tasmanian tenements.
