The engine will be a compact design based on previous patents, running on a variety of fuels such as hydrocarbons, hydrogen, and compressed natural gas. It is expected to provide a high-energy output with efficient fuel usage and zero gas emission.
The engine will be used in the W2 Energy Hydrogen Plasma Black Reactor plant scheduled to launch in Ontario, Canada later this year. The plant will convert bio-mass to GTL (gas to liquid) and electricity, the abundant hydrogen produced being used to produce extra electricity by the addition of the rotary hydrogen engine.
