The Palawan Puerto Princesa City Council and US firm Asera Group have signed an MOU to build a JV...

In a statement the council said, “The MOU has been signed by Mayor Edward Hagedorn and Asera. The 6.67 megawatt Sinag 1 solar power plant is expected to generate about 10 million kilowatt-hours of electricity a year, giving the city enough capacity to meet demand during peak hours.”

“A timetable for the construction of the plant has yet to be finalised,” added the council.
