Another big windfall for Oz wind-power industry

The Australian wind-power industry got a another big windfall, pardon the pun, after the Tasmania...

The deal involves an unconditional order for 128 megawatts of wind turbines, operational and maintenance support and civil works. It has also prompted the government-owned Hydro Tasmania to announce it would go ahead with the second stage of the 130MW Woolnorth wind farm in north-west Tasmania. The project will see the construction of 31 turbines, which are expected to be in operation by the middle of next year.
