Marine experienced Project Manager and Supervisors/ Superintendents with piling experience required for up & coming projects throughout WA.

Marine & Civil is a privately owned Western Australian company specialising in marine infrastructure civil construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects including, Wharves, Slipways, Marinas, Navigational Aids, Jetties, Bridge Piling and other Specialist Foundation Works.

We are one of the state's leading marine contractors and have been involved in some of the construction industry's most challenging marine related and specialist foundation projects including the Shark Bay Resources Useless Loop Port upgrade, AMC Wharf 5A, Gorgon Project Initial Works & WAPET Landing and Geraldton Port – Train Unloader Upgrade Project.

Opportunity
Marine & Civil are looking for motivated, marine experienced Project Managers and Supervisors/Superintendents to join our team, to work on a diverse range of projects located throughout Western Australia.

Project Managers
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the role will oversee the management and execution of projects and in doing so ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and in accordance with Safety and Quality requirements.

Must have:



  • A relevant Engineering Degree

  • Demonstrated ability as a construction Project Manager (5 + years working as a Project Manager)

  • Experience working on a project /construction site for a contractor

  • Demonstrated understanding of construction contracts.

  • The ability to grow and maintain strong relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Developed analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.



Supervisors/Superintendents

Reporting into the Project/Construction Manager, the role will coordinate the planning and successful execution of all delegated works, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications, and within budget estimates in terms of labour and materials.

Must have:


  • Experience working on a project /construction site for a contractor

  • High Risk ticketed work experience, preferably over water on barges.

  • Experience overseeing Crane Operators and Riggers working off barges

  • Ability to coordinate labour, subcontractors/suppliers and Plant & Equipment on site

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team

  • Proactive approach to dealing with issues and has the ability to solve problems and to resolve conflict
