Reporting to the Facilities Engineering Team Leader, the position will coordinate projects and provide design, process and mechanical expertise to Beach’s new and existing oil and gas field operations

Day-to-day responsibilities of the position include:

  • Design solutions for facilities upgrades and new installation, from concept through to commissioning.

  • Develop and manage project budgets for facilities design projects.

  • Ensure all designs and engineering specifications comply with Australian legislation, Standards and Codes.

We are seeking a Facilities Design Engineer with hold tertiary engineering qualifications and have extensive experience of production engineering, process and mechanical design within the oil and gas industry.

The successful applicant will have a mechanical aptitude, possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team environment and be able to prioritise workloads. Previous experience in the Cooper Basin would be advantageous.
