Personnel movements, week ending May 30

L&M PETROLEUM: New Zealand explorer L&M Petroleum has appointed Dr Chris McKeown as commercial manager effective from June 16.

McKeown joins L&M from Austral Pacific Energy (Australia) where he was asset manager for the Cheal Oil Field, in which he had overall responsibility for asset integrity, reservoir management and project operations, including negotiating all contracts related to oil and gas handling, transportation, sales and marketing. McKeown has previously been CEO of a pre-IPO E&P company, upstream fuels manager for a major power generation company, and business development manager and reservoir engineer.

McKeown holds a PhD in geology and applied geology from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK.

ADG GLOBAL SUPPLY: ADG , a supplier of consumables and equipment to the petroleum and mining industries, has appointed Graham Hine chief financial officer of the company and all of its subsidiaries with immediate effect.

Hine has been a director of ADG Global Supply for seven years and during this time he has had full responsibility for the company's administration and credit functions.

He is a certified practicing accountant with a wide range of commercial experience in large and small businesses. He has a broad skill set in all aspects of accounting, administration and commercial management.

DUET GROUP: Jason Conroy has been appointed as chief financial officer, commencing on June 10. Conroy joins DUET from Origin Energy, where he held the position of corporate finance manager with responsibilities including debt and equity raising and supporting merger and acquisition transactions. This, as well as previous roles with Citibank and KPMG, has given Conroy a strong technical knowledge base and experience within the infrastructure and utilities markets.

Conroy replaces Bruce Berry as chief financial officer. Berry is returning to a senior executive position in AMP Capital Investors' Infrastructure Division.

PNN & PETROLEUM: After three years as editor of PetroleumNews.net and its predecessor EnergyReview.net, Steve Rotherham is relinquishing that role effective Friday, May 30, in order to move to Queensland.

Bevis Yeo will be the new editor of PNN, effective Monday, June 2.

Rotherham will continue to edit Petroleum magazine and will continue to write regular feature articles for PNN. He will cease working in Aspermont's Perth office on June 27 and will begin working from Queensland on July 14.
