The EPBC Act covers matters of national environmental significance and the environment in matters relating to Commonwealth actions or Commonwealth land.

The project has been deemed to be “not a controlled action”, meaning it will be assessed solely under Queensland and local government environmental processes.

The Fisherman’s landing project is being developed by LNG Limited in partnership with coal seam methane producer and upstream developer Arrow Energy.
