Shell man through and through

SHELL Todd Oil Services boss Rob Jager is as much a Royal Dutch Shell man as anyone. His Dutch parents worked for the Hague-headquartered oil company on various assignments, including a stint in Indonesia where Jager was born in a hospital run by Shell and delivered by a doctor who was employed by the company in the late 1950s.

He spent his school holidays working for a Shell affiliate and the company helped finance his engineering studies. His father left the company in the mid-1960s and the family moved back to the Netherlands....
