Viva slapped with environmental direction

AUSTRALIAN oil refinery and fuel distributor Viva Energy has been ordered to implement a remediation plan for its former fire-training paddock, which caused perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFSO) contamination at the Pinkenba Terminal, Queensland, after being found to breach the Environmental Protection Act.
