The CEC said today that presentations on renewable energy in mining and oil and gas were welcome, and that there were 10-minute slots available on November 19, 2020.

Where the Clean Energy Council deems appropriate, sessions may be panel discussions only.

Speakers are invited to submit abstracts for consideration. Applications will close on June 4.

The CEC said the event aimed to bring together professionals from industry to share knowledge and network while discussing opportunities and technical challenges facing the renewables sector.

Other presentation topics include Distributed Energy Resources, community engagement, future finance and engagement, policy and regulation, and hydrogen projects.

The CEC is a national not-for-profit peak body representing Australia's renewable energy and energy storage sector.

At this stage it is unknown whether the forum will be held in-person or virtually. The forum will run from 8am to 6pm western standard time. The location is yet to be announced.

The event is sponsored by Goldwind Australia.
