Central abandons exploration well after lack of success

CENTRAL Petroleum as operator of the Palm Valley gas field has decided to give up on its hopes of finding a large gas deposit in the deep Arumbera Sandstone and will instead drill a sidetrack to get gas flowing from the already producing Pacoota Sandstone.
