Cooper on the lookout for new HR general manager

The ASX200-listed business operates gas assets offshore Victoria in the Otway and Gippsland Basin and also has various exploration interest onshore.

The general manager people & remuneration is a "key position within the executive leadership team" and is a newly created role, as the company's business expands.

The successful applicant will report to the managing director David Maxwell.

"This newly created role leads the review and alignment of the people resources to ensure optimum purpose and service delivery to the business," Cooper said.

"The role is one of an influencer, advisor and supporter, as well as driving creative thinking as an innovator to ensure Cooper Energy is able to maximise its capability and offering in the market."

Applicants will need at least 15 years HR experience and a track record of leading a HR function with an ASX-listed company.

The role can be based in Perth or Adelaide.
