THE US and Vietnam will jointly invest in a US$6 billion LNG-to-power project as the latter nation seeks to increase power generation at a time when its offshore hydrocarbon development is now permanently threatened by China and it also seeks to redress the trade imbalance President Donald Trump has called out.
