Senex starts on gas path amid takeover speculation

SENEX Energy and the Santos-led Gladstone LNG partners have sealed the deal on the Western Surat gas project, a move that puts the Adelaide-based junior firmly on the path to becoming a Queensland CSG producer, but Credit Suisse believes Origin Energy could be justified in eyeing Senex as a possible takeover target.
