Puka well shut in on economics

TECHNICAL issues and the oil price slump have contributed to the shutting in of UK company Kea Petroleum's Puka site in the Taranaki Basin off New Zealand.

Kea has spent the last few weeks working to fix mechanical issues with its Puka-1 well while continuing to produce from Puka-2; however, the company has now advised that the problem cannot be resolved...
