Churchie-1 gas flow fails to shine

MOSAIC Oil has successfully used fracture stimulation to boost production from its Churchie-1 gas well in PL 192 of the Surat-Bowen Basin, Queensland, though not as much as it hoped.

The company said post frac gas production has stabilised at about 500,000 cubic feet per day, double the rate before the operation though still less than the anticipated 1.5 million cubic feet per day....
