Wash gets oil flowing from Brazilian well

EROMANGA Hydrocarbons has started producing light oil from the Tatu-1 well in Block 430 of the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, Brazil, after a successful solvent wash.

The well flowed about 60 barrels of 31-degree API oil from the 4m Zone CCC, which produced few hydrocarbons when initially tested in August 2008, after the wash was used to initiate flow in the zone. ...
