The 250,000 barrels of oil were loaded onto the Emerald Queen export tanker earlier this week.

Junior partner Cue Energy Resources said commissioning of the field was almost completed with gas injection expected to be operational later this week with all producing wells on line.

Production rates are expected to stabilise at between 8000 and 10,000 barrels of oil per day.

Oil is produced via a wellhead platform with five oil wells and two gas wells, and is processed on the Sea Good 101 production barge and piped to the Shanghai FSO for storage and offtake.

Participants in Oyong and the Sampang production-sharing contract are: Santos (operator - 45%), Singapore Petroleum (40%) and Cue (15%).
