Golden Gate to bring Lousiana well online

Three recently completed flow-tests at the well, on the LGS Noel project, suggest it will initially come online at 500,000 cubic feet per day, ramping up to 1MMcfd a month later.

Also observed during the tests were up to 8 barrels of condensate per day of 60-degree API gravity.

Reserves at the Samstown prospect are estimated to be more than 1 billion cubic feet of gas.

Pipeline hook-up is expected to be completed in 2 weeks.

Golden G said this was the first in a three-well program planned for the LGS Noel project, in which it holds a 36% stake.
