Yesterday partner Stuart Petroleum announced the well had confirmed the northeasterly extension of the field, potentially upgrading Derrilyn’s oil reserves.

Over the weekend, a second drill stem test run over the interval 1480-1484m flowed about 950 barrels of oil per day from the Hutton Formation.

Meanwhile, a third test in the Murta member recovered 12bbl of oil, 1.1bbl of oil cut mud and 4.5bbl of muddy water at depths of 1216-1221m.

Partners in Derrilyn-4, which reached a total depth of 1550m, are Santos (operator with a 65% stake) and Stuart (35%).
