A multiple-zone completion string has been run that will allow production from both the

Poolowanna and Patchawarra reservoirs, the company said.

The Poolowanna reservoir has been perforated over the interval 1996 to 2002 metres.

Meanwhile, equipment has been installed to allow perforation of the Patchawarra oil zones, but this will not be done until the drilling rig has been released from the nearby Sellicks-3 surface location. Before perforating, a line will be run to the production facility and a wellhead installed.

The Poolowanna reservoir flowed 2685 barrels of oil per day and 450 barrels of water per day on open-hole production test over the interval 1984 to 2007 metres - thus establishing a new pool oil discovery in the Sellicks field, Cooper said.

The Lower Patchawarra reservoir comprises three discrete sand intervals: 2062 to 2068.5 metres (6.5m), 2072.5 to 2076 metres (3.5m) and 2083 to 2089 metres (6m).

The Century Rig 3 was released from Sellicks-2 on Friday afternoon and moved four metres to the Sellicks-3 surface location.

Following the release of the drilling rig from Sellicks-3, it is planned initially to perforate the uppermost sand (2062-2068.5m) in Sellicks-2, to determine the productivity of this interval.

The deeper sands will be perforated at a later stage depending on the production performance established for the uppermost sand, Cooper said.

The oil shows encountered in the Upper Patchawarra reservoir across the intervals 2014.3-2017.6m (3.3m) and 2041.8-2,051.2m (9m) will be tested at a later date.

A revision to the Sellicks field reserves will be issued following the drilling of Sellicks-3 and once the results of Sellick-2 and Sellicks-3 have been incorporated.
