The first of these wells, Turner 5-14, has been approved and is planned for spudding in February next year in the south eastern corner of section 14.
The second well, Turner 6-14, is still awaiting approval, but is expected to spud in March in the immediate 40-acre spacing to the east of Turner 5-14, Samson said.
In early November, Samson announced its Turner 4-14 and Hightower 1-23 were flowing 40% more gas than expected.
Back then, Turner 4-14 was connected to a high pressure delivery line at a flow rate of 1.722 million cubic feet per day with 2000 psi flow tubing head pressure. Described by Samson as the “stand out performer,” Turner 4-14 has now increased its flow to 1.9 million cubic feet per day.
Hightower 1-23, which was flowing at 1.724 million cubic feet per day, has dropped slightly to 1.4 million cubic feet per day.
In addition, the Reynolds 1-23 well is currently flowing at 0.6 million cubic feet of gas per day.
