With three months to go, Beach is already in front

Beach said its revenue for the current financial year was boosted last quarter when production, sales and revenue were the highest for any quarter in its history.

Beach’s actual share of oil and gas revenues for the March quarter increased $500,000 on the previous corresponding period – to a record $16.9 million.

This pushed up revenue to date this year by 69% to $45.6 million – already well ahead of the record total revenue of $41.3 million posted in the 2004 financial year.

“Overall, the March 2005 quarter has emerged as another milestone period for Beach in many areas, and has established the platform for further growth to be achieved in the current full year,” said Beach’s managing director, Reg Nelson.

“Latest quarterly sales volume of 265,500 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) were also a record and took sales for the nine months to 756,100 boe – an increase of 18% on the previous corresponding period,” said Beach in its report.
