Production from Jingemia-4 has been steadily increased in line with engineering planning since being brought on production at the end of July. The well has a demonstrated flow potential of up to 5000bopd although current production is limited to 4000bopd by road tanker loading restraints.
There is additional potential to increase production rates by drilling additional wells and tying them into production. The L14 joint venture has agreed to drill Jingemia-5 immediately following availability of the Denison 3D seismic survey which will cover the field area. The 3D survey is expected to commence in late October or early November.
“We are very pleased with our series of investments in this project and anticipate strong, long term production and cash flows from the field,” said JV partner Voyager Energy’s managing director John Begg.
