QGC hits new production record

Berwyndale South-9 is flowing at an average of 355,000 cubic feet per day (cfd) after 49 days of production testing, with the field’s nine pilot wells and one step-out well averaging an aggregate of 1.23mmcfd over the past seven days.

The performance of the two new wells indicate that QGC’s testing program has delivered a well design that overcomes the technical complexities of the Walloon Coals.

The Berwyndale South gas field is located only 13km from the Roma to Brisbane gas pipeline and 10km from QGC’s Argyle pilot in the adjoining tenement of ATP 620P.

QGC holds 50% interest in PL201 with CS Energy holding the remaining 50%.
