Indonesia to supply Bontang LNG to South Korea

The reason for this shift in the supply chain is because the Indonesian government is toying with the idea of the Arun refineries supplying local fertiliser plants instead of exporting.

According to the country's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, "The government is weighing options to meet the needs of several fertiliser plants for gas supplies. One option is to allocate gas produced by Arun refineries to the fertiliser plants."
