BP Migas to build LNG terminal

Indonesian oil and gas policy body BP Migas is looking to build an East Java LNG terminal togethe...

However, on the matter of the East Kalimantan-East Java-West Java pipeline, the authority has been less than forth coming. At press time, BP Migas head Rachmat Sudibyo said, “The agency [has] studied the proposal but construction [is] not expected to begin for some time.”

The 1,780 km, which PGN was due to begin construction of next year, needs investment of around US$1.7 billion. If it is constructed, it will be capable of transporting up to 1.35 billion metric cubic feet per day.
