Pacific Tiger, Carnarvon production test Thai well

The well is the first of Pacific's work schedule, which includes horizontal and development wells at the Wichian Buri North oil pool and 3D seismic tests at its L44 and L33 exploration blocks. Also in the pipeline - but planned for mid-January - are the drilling of horizontal wells WB N7 and WB N8, both at Wichian Buri.

The HP 1 drilling reached a total depth of 1,064 metres. Its primary drilling objective, the F sandstone interval, was reached at 869 metres and production casing is being run. Pacific hopes to announce test results early next year.
