The wholly-owned subsidiary of United Energy has been contracted to supply electrical and related services to the Transfield wind farm project under construction in Gippsland. The project includes the design and construction of a 22kV distribution system and all electrical works for the twelve-windmill farm. United Energy estimates revenue of $1.6 million to NPS this financial year.
NPS has also won a $1.7 million contract to construct 2.7km of underground power supply and associated public lighting in the City of Whitehorse located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Both projects are due to be completed in the middle of the year.
Late last year NPS and AlintaGas announced the formation of a new company, NPS (WA), which was awarded the construction and maintenance contract for AlintaGas for a four year period.
