Revenue for the nine months ending September 30 was $1.69 billion, slightly down from the $1.81 billion recorded last year.
The NWS venture, in which Woodside is the operator and equal one-sixth owner, set two monthly production records in the September quarter, with 533,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) achieved in July and 555,000 boepd in August.
The NWS gas project, which was recently boosted by a $25 billion gas sales contract to China, said domestic gas production was above plan due to higher than planned deliveries to Western Power while LNG production benefited from two additional cargoes.
As for oil production, continuing good reservoir performance and high facility uptime again contributed to above-plan production for Cossack Pioneer Oil.
At Laminaria and Corallina in the Timor Sea, Woodside said production averaged 105,605 barrels a day (bopd) because of the contribution of the Laminaria phase-two wells, which moved into production in June. The production rate at the end of third quarter was 88,970 bopd.
Woodside said production from the Legendre field was below plan at an average of 31,716 bopd due to constraints imposed by the gas re-injection capacity of the facility.
