Director Anthony Short said today the higher rates were pleasing, given the initial flow rates were around 30 bopd.
"The engineers had a feeling they had put a skin around the well bore when first drilling, and so what we're seeing is the skin being gradually flushed out of the reservoir and some good consistent flow rates being established."
He said Amadeus now had a monthly production rate of 23, 500 barrels of oil.
He also said the Seay Heirs well would probably be brought into production next week and the company would be drilling 5-6 wells before March next year.
The Amadeus AGM is at 10 am tomorrow at the Rydges Hotel in Perth.
