The WA-based PCT Engineers has been undertaking major projects in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland since its inception in 1987.
PCT Business Development Manager, Mark Sawyer, said the decision to establish the Brisbane office was a natural progression of PCT's expansion, and reflected the company's commitment to its current and future Eastern States clients.
"Following our success in Western Australia, our move to Queensland intends to establish a number of 'Centres of Excellence' with the high quality technical personnel available and further support upcoming project work, while -- at the same time -- expanding the company's national and international reach," Mr Sawyer said.
"We can offer our clien ts a readily accessible and award-winning* service across Australia."
Over the past five years, PCT Engineers has recorded an annual growth rate of 20% -- and the company expects similar or increased growth this year.
PCT is currently working on such engineering projects as the SeaGas pipeline in South Australia and is technical adviser to the project bankers for a major gas field development in Victoria.
Mr Sawyer said Queensland had a diverse mix within its resources industries and PCT's established experience in the resources sector in Western Australia placed the company in good stead to gain additional work in the oil and gas sector, as well as the mining and utility industries.
"At PCT, we're ahead of the market, by anticipating industry change and shaping a new era of outcome-based engineering services," said Mr Sawyer.
PCT Engineers offer engineering services on a global basis to organisations, which manage, operate and maintain assets in the resource and infrastructure industry worldwide.
