ARF said two investors have now committed $6 million to earn a combined 33% interest and ARF's parent company, Amadeus Energy, will provide a further $2 million of equity to retain a 67% interest.
Caroline Bentley, company secretary for Amadeus Energy, said the $8 million will only become available after a suitable debt facility for the project has been established. This should be known in the next two months.
ARF plans to build a 40 million litre per annum biodiesel production facility using animal fat and waste oil as feedstock in WA's southwest. ARF is also negotiating the establishment of facilities at other sites.
