CSO-Aker Maritime Inc said the topside process facility was built over a 15-month period at its fabrication yard in Ingleside, Texas while the hull was built at its Finnish shipyard.

"We are very proud to have been entrusted with the delivery of the Horn Mountain Spar, which will set a new depth record for a production platform and will achieve all project delivery goals set two years ago," fabrication yard manager, David Sverre said.

Paris-based Technip-Coflexip's scope of work on the project also includes the moorings and 10 production risers with final deliveries scheduled for July this year.
