“It is expected that a jet pump will be in operation shortly and although higher rates may ultimately be achieved, Jingemia-4 is expected by the operator to initially produce at rates of about 1,000 barrels of oil per day while on pump,” Voyager said.

Additional development drilling activity at Jingemia by the L14 (Jingemia) Production Licence joint venture is scheduled with ODE Rig 16 following completion of the Tarantula-1 sidetrack well. The rig should be available to the L14 joint venture in early August to begin drilling Jingemia-5 and Jingemia-6.

After subsequent tie-in of these wells to the field facilities, oil production rates in L14 are expected to return to over 4,500 bopd.

Participants in EP 413/L14 are Origin Energy (operator) 49.189%, Arc Energy 33.141%, Voyager (PB) Limited 11%, Victoria Petroleum 5%, Norwest Energy 1.278%, Roc Oil 0.250% and J Geary 0.142%.
