Amadeus drills ahead in Texas and Oklahoma

Two wells were successfully drilled on the project in the past six months, and electrical installation is being completed at the Olver-1 well for it to be in production within a week, the company said today.

Flow lines are being constructed at Rash Barrett–4 at Red Creek and the well is expected to be on-line tomorrow.

Since Amadeus acquired an interest in the project, 10 out of 14 wells have been successfully drilled - a success rate of 71%, the company said.

At the Raccoon Bend project in Texas, four out of the six wells drilled in the last six months have been successful. Amadeus has a 60.5% interest in this project.

The Wilson-25 well at Raccoon Bend started production on March 21, pumping 200 million cubic feet a day and Wilson-26 is producing 50 barrels of oil a day.

Walton A-16 started production three days later and is currently flowing at 190 bopd, but Walton A-17 has to be completed, the company said.

Meanwhile, Amadeus is also working on the Halletsville project in Lavaca County, Texas.

In the past six months, three out of four wells at Helletsville have been succesfully drilled. Morton Estate-1 is due to be spudded later this month to test the Midcox play at 11,300 feet, the company said.

Butscheck-1 stared production a month ago and is producing 430mcf a day and 20 bopd.

The other wells at Halletsville, New Henderson-1 and Harbus Trust-1, are being installed with tank batteries and site construction is also underway, the company said.
