The Cliff Head Project Arrowsmith Separation Plant will be built on 30 hectares of coastal land located at Cliff Head, 20km south of Dongara and 290km north of Perth, Western Australia.
Under the terms of the Arrowsmith Contract, AGC will be responsible for: site establishment; installation of vessels; electrical and instrumentation; tanker loading facility; control rooms; power generation; insulation; surface treatment; and testing and pre-commissioning.
It will also handle: earthmoving and concrete, involving about 600 cubic metres of concrete; spooling and installation of about 8km of pipes; and installation of about 300 tonnes of structural steel.
The project starts this month; construction and commissioning are due for completion in mid December. Contract completion is planned for January 2006, said AGC managing director Stuart Kenny.
“The currently buoyant environment surrounding the Australian oil and gas and resources industries has benefited AGC as we continue to see more jobs awarded to us,” Kenny said.
“The contract with Roc is our first onshore oil and gas development and further advances the skill base of our Group.”
