Drillsearch reschedules SW Qld drilling program

These nine wells will provide additional incremental oil production and 1P reserves for Drillsearch, the company said in an ASX announcement.

AT the Tintaburra Block in ATP 299P Drillsearch will have a 10% stake in four new oil wells and the deepening of three existing producing wells

Drilling will commence with Mulberry-2 in late February, 2005. Further appraisal wells - Mulberry-3 and 4 - will also be drilled.

Interests in the Tintaburra Block include Santos (operator) 89%, Drillsearch Energy 10%, CPC Energy 1%.

At the Santos-operated Tarbat/Ipundu fields in ATP 299P – three existing producing wells will be deepened, cased and fracced those wells to access proved oil in two zones. One of these wells, Ipundu North 4, will be further deepened as a Hutton exploration well.

In addition, a new development well - Tarbat 12 – will be drilled to access additional oil reserves at the Tarbat field.

Following the Tintaburra program, another drilling program will begin at the Santos-operated Naccowlah Block in ATP 259P

Drillsearch will have a 2% stake in two new development wells at the Jackson field –Jackson-44 and 45.
