Iraqi terminals shut down by power cut, strong winds

The shutdown has, apparently, left tankers backed up in the Gulf waiting to be loaded with Iraqi crude. High winds and rough seas are also preventing ships from docking.

Power-related shutdowns are common in post-invasion Iraq and adverse weather has previously affected the loading of crude from the two offshore terminals .
