ONGC wants deepwater farmin partners

ONGC will be offering farmin opportunities in five deepwater blocks – three on the east coast in the Krishna-Godavari basin and two in the west, including one in Kerala-Konkan and one in Gujarat-Kutch.

“ONGC is seeking partners with requisite technical and financial capabilities,” a petroleum ministry press release said.

The government will also award 20 oil and gas blocks for exploration by private companies as part of a move to boost domestic energy output.
