Lukoil chief financial officer Sergei Kukura was snatched by armed men on his way to work on September 12. Russian newspapers reported that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of $US6 million for his release, however Lukoil did not confirm the report
A Lukoil spokesman said Mr. Kukura is now at home. No further details were provided concerning the terms of the release or Mr. Kukura's condition.
