Battle for Burrup put on hold

A Federal Court battle between Woodside Energy and the construction union over right of entry to ...

Woodside is seeking to bar the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union from the Burrup citing Federal-registered industrial agreements signed with other unions. The CFMEU claims it has a right of entry under State laws.

Federal Employment Minister Tony Abbot was represented at Friday's directions hearing by Ken Martin QC, who successfully applied to intervene in the case which will not resume before this Wednesday.

Last Friday's directions hearing centred on legal argument.
