US DoE backs solar push

SOUTHERN Research Institute has signed a jointly funded, $US1.05 ($A1.12) million cooperative agreement with the US Department of Energy, as part of the department's Concentrating Solar Power: Efficiently Leveraging Equilibrium Mechanisms for Engineering Thermochemical Storage funding program.
