Savo geo project could generate 37MW

GEODYNAMICS has been given a boost by an independent resource estimate finding its Savo Island geothermal project in the Solomon Islands may provide enough energy to power Honiara and the nearby Gold Ridge mine.

Volcanex International prepared a report which outlined a median inferred geothermal resource of 269 petajoules of energy, which it said would be enough to generate 37 megawatts of energy for 30 years....
