Perhaps a better solution would be to divert a small percentage from the Dampier Perth line into Dongara or Mondara until such a time there was a 100 day reserve, which could then be transported either via the Parmelia network or in the case of a disruption to supply in Karratha back in the main pipe.
Mondara is an ideal gas storage option.
