WorleyParsons lands BP EPMS contract

ENGINEERING giant WorleyParsons has been awarded a four-year engineering and project management services contract to support BP's global offshore production facilities.

The contract includes an option for an extension.

WorleyParsons said while no work has been awarded under the contract at this stage, it is likely the contract will provide a material contribution to the company over time.

BP is using long-term EPMS contracts to ensure its Exploration and Production Segment's program of offshore development projects across the globe is delivered safely, with technical integrity and long-term operating efficiency.
